Introduction: Hi, there! I'm Kevin, a freelance proofreader and editor. I am a graduate from Proofread Anywhere's intensive general proofreading course. I utilize the most recent edition of the Chicago Manual of Style in my proofreading. My rates are $15 for every 2,000 (or $7.50 for anything less than that) words read. So, a document containing 10,000 words would cost $75. My belief is that the goal of good writing is to be clearly heard by one's audience. The goal of proofreading is to allow writing to live up to that potential in the best ways.
