We had the most beautiful experience with Katie as our newborn photographer. From the very beginning, she handled our little one with so much patience, gentleness, and genuine care. As a new parent, it meant everything to see someone treat our baby like her own. She carefully changed his outfits, made sure he was always comfortable, and when he got fussy or started crying, she calmly soothed and settled him like a true baby whisperer. Watching her work was so reassuring. she was in complete control, yet so soft and loving at the same time. And the photos… absolutely incredible. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a session fee which includes an online gallery of full resolution, edited photos, with the ability to download the photos, and take them to the printer of your choice.
Portrait session options are either 30 minutes or an hour. Newborn sessions are longer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by asking customers some questions to better understand what they're looking to achieve with their photoshoot. From there, we can decide on a location, length of shoot, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in photojournalism. I've also photographed children and families for many years, and have worked with newborns for the past six years. I also work for a company that does in-hospital newborn sessions.
