- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in the construction industry for 38 years. Started as an electrical apprentice working my way to senior electrical inspector. I wanted to be a business owner and decided to start a business in 2006 Sunset Services Fl . 2014 we incorporated to Sunset Demolition Inc. I hired some soldiers to work from our local combat engineer unit. From there business took off. We're are a small company, we manage our work and make sure the customers are satisfied before leaving.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recent job was removing a tree and tarping a roof for a elderly woman in Altamonte spring that didn't have two nickels to rub together but contracted with us to help her. She was so happy to see the tree gone, yard cleaned, roof tarped she started tearing up as she was talking. After we told her it was free!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone licensed, as a business owner we spend the money on Licensing, insurance, proper tools and equipment. Though we may not always be the lowest price your looking for but we will have the right tools for the job.
