Introduction: We are located on 17 acres of sunny pastures, shady live oak woods, & picturesque trails. Lessons are available in English or Western: beginner to advanced, trail riding, dressage, equitation, hunter jumper, eventing, etc. We have three fabulous trainer / instructor,s Brianna Gonzalez, Kristin Chamberlain, and Sally Bina. They all love teaching beginners as well as advanced riders. Private lessons $45 1/2 hour, $90 full hour Group lessons (2 or more students) $45/student 1 hour Ask us about our monthly packages which give you special pricing on lessons and also extra benefits. You can also partially lease a horse by paying $125 a month for one ride per week. Or ride twice a week for $175 a month. Enjoy bridle trails, sandy roads, neighbor's pastures/woods, an arena with jumps & cavalettis, a round pen, barrels & cones. There's lots of variety in places to ride, so you don't have to load horses into a trailer to go somewhere else. We would love to have you come out, take a tour of our facility & meet the horses. Susan was wonderful to meet and provided everything I hoped to achieve in a very specific experience . She accepted me for a lesson on very short notice. Her facility is in a beautiful setting and the lesson horse she provided suited my goal perfectly. Local riders and want to be riders are lucky to have such a small and caring facility in their area. Her new barn offers additional boarding openings and as a person who has had multiple boarding stable nightmares home in Idaho I wish I lived closer.

I have enjoyed trail riding with Susan, Don and many others for the past month! Don has given me many tips on how to manage the horses, both in the round pen and on the trail. I am going to be riding here as much as I can, and highly recommend Canopy Oaks to anyone interested in learning to ride well or to trail ride.

We had a blast. Susan's experience helped both of us a great deal. She is extremely soft spoken, answers our questions no matter how insignificant they may seem, treats you like you are part of a family. My husband and I are going to continue taking lesson. Our teacher is easy to get along with, making riding extremely fun, and gain knowledge on riding. I would recommend anyone to use Canopy Oak Trails. I give them a five star. Susan has a way of making you feel comfortable and calm in the saddle and out on the trails - going out to her beautiful property is a treat and often feels like a 'day at the spa'. It wouldnt surprise me if she became your dear friend while you board/lease/take lessons - she's a wonderful and endlessly interesting individual and can provide info about the trails far beyond the horses.

Find the facility that specialzes in your area of interest. So, if you're interested in dressage, find a facility with a dressage arena. If you want to trail ride, find a place with lot's of trails -- or near state parks, if you have a trailer.
