I needed a full remodel of my master bath. Was concerned about finding a competent, dedicated and affordable contractor. Found Five Star Finishes on Thumbtack. Their 5 star customer reviews are spot on. Juan Carlos was a pleasure to deal with. He was thoughtful and his experience and professionalism were appreciated. He is expert in relating to the customer concerns and helps all through the project and process. He was always available. His crew was a delight. Diligent, detail oriented, neat and timely. Couldn't ask for a better experience. I will be using Five Star for an additional bath room remodel in the near future!!

We recently completed a major home remodel as we prepared to welcome our first child, and working with Five Star Finishes, Juan Carlos, and his team was one of the best decisions we made. They remodeled our kitchen, living room, and both bathrooms, along with a variety of other upgrades throughout our home, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. What truly set them apart was their communication. Juan Carlos was excellent at keeping us informed every step of the way, providing clear documentation and timeline expectations, and always checking in with us before making any changes or decisions. We never felt out of the loop. He also took the time to educate us when certain ideas we had were not feasible, and instead of just saying no, he helped us understand why and guided us toward solutions that worked beautifully. The level of trustworthiness and professionalism they brought to the project was incredible. Juan Carlos, his team, and all of the subcontractors were respectful, reliable, and genuinely easy to work with. They kept the job site clean, treated our home with care, and consistently delivered beautiful, high-quality work. What impressed us even more was how often they went above and beyond the original scope of work. They helped us move things, purchase items, and problem-solve challenges as they came up. It really felt like they were invested in making our home everything we hoped it would be. We are so grateful for the amazing experience they gave us during such an important season in our lives. We would work with Five Star Finishes again anytime and highly recommend Juan Carlos and his team to anyone looking for a contractor they can trust.

We are extremely pleased with Five Star and highly recommend them to others. We were so impressed with their work on Phase I that we hired them for Phase II, which is double the size, scope, and cost. They were considerate and maintained a clean work area on a daily basis, especially since we lived in the home during the extensive remodel. Juan Carlos and his team were very diligent, working every day, including weekends, to expedite the remodeling process and complete their task.
