Delightful experience working with Robyn from RLC Appraisals! She was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She was patient and really seemed to take her time and walk us through everything in my parent's estate, even though her consultation fee was a flat price. She didn't rush us and helped us determine what items we wanted to keep and what should be sold and she helped get the right buyers to us. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I inherited two houses full of quality Antiques, Art, Bronzes, Collectibles, Crystal, Estate Jewelry, Gold, Furniture, Glass, and so much more. I knew if I wanted to make any money I would have to learn about what I had before I sold anything. I did my research then went and peddled my wears to the highest bidder. One man bought some sterling silver from me and then offered to apprentice me in the Estate Business if I was interested. I took the job 25 years ago and I have built a career. I am an Affiliate member of the Appraisers Association of America.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Insurance Appraisals and Tax Donation Appraisals for Fine Quality Personal Property. Consultations for Valuations and Sales of Fine Art, Estate Jewelry, Decorative Arts, Sterling Silver, and Luxury Goods.
