Joseph is spot on! A true artist, photographer, articulate, energetic, and bright guy. The shoot was like being a little kid in a candy shop. He had fun and so did I! That translates into results!
He was on time and professional. Don't let the purple pants he's wearing fool you, he's the real deal :)
I hired him for a dating site shoot. Up until now I've use selfies and other alsoran shots taken here or there at family gatherings...you know the ones.
People---spend the money!!!
The results I've had in the past were less than lukewarm to say the least, more like dismal at times. In less than 2 days I've had 83 views and 54 picture likes! That's a 65% response rate! I've been on dating sites for awhile, and I'm here to tell you, that NEVER happens!! Real women want real pictures showing depth, class, and your personality, and Joseph put it all of film.
Winks, emails, and those that "favored me", was a 10% response rate. That NEVER happens with selfies and home photos. Um...I'm going to be busy for AWHILE.
Best part is, the pictures were of me!
Thanks Joseph! Will recommend him to anyone for anything!

So, i'm not a normal or traditional person at all. I had a book, some ideas garnered through my love of Pink, and a retro styled dress. Quite frankly I was nervous because I didn't know how I would make a cover that fit with the theme of the book that also kept all of those aesthetic. Then I met Joseph.
We had an instant connection and his portfolio stood out from his competitors. I chose him based off of his work and his portfolio and I was floored by him during the process and in the end when I received the final photos. He's a technical genius and his creativity knows no bounds. The process was fun, easy, and memorable and the turn around time was fast. Joseph was amazing, we live out of state & decided on photographer solely from Thumbtack, websites & email correspondence. From day 1 (or email 1 I should say) I was convinced he was 'the one!' our photos are GORGEOUS...highly recommend! Not only was he understanding of my extremely busy schedule leading up to the wedding, but the day of the wedding he was very 'go with the flow' which matched my vibe perfectly. This review is overdue, Let me start off by saying there are no words to describe the amazing talent of Joseph as a photographer. He not only captures the photo, but the emotion tied to it. Every picture he took was breathtaking and we felt we could not live without that photo. Joseph loves what he does and it is evident in the way he interacted with us and our families. Our relatives are still talking about the way he made everyone feel and were in awe when they saw the photos of the wedding. He made the photo taking fun, interactive and produced a beautiful product. A very important factor was how comfortable he seemed with us (a lesbian couple) and our friends and family which then in turn made us comfortable with him. Joseph is the best photographer, ever!!!

Where do we begin without sounding like the average review? Joe is truly a class act and we loved his red shoes! He was super fun and amazingly artistic. During our shoot, it was astounding to watch how his mind worked in order to get the photos come from his thoughts to fruition. He cared about our story and the photos he took, we believe, will adequately reflect our journey to anyone who sees them...butt squeezes included! This was our first professional photo shoot as a couple so we were super nervous. Joe did everything possible to help us relax and enjoy the moment. If we weren't leaving the area for our wedding, we would definitely have him shoot our event. Bottom line, he is simply the best! Thanks for everything Joe!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my jobs based on whats involved. Shooting, editing, travel, special equipment, assistants, all factor in to the final value of a job.
I try to keep things to a simple hourly rate, so we both know exactly whats expected from one another.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Contact me with your needs ie, Event, Headshot, Product shoot.
2. Dates are important as my schedule stays fairly packed.
3. I will quote you time and cost.
4. We book your shoot with a deposit and I can consult you for wardrobe, locations, etc.
5. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask! I am a very experienced professional and have shoot so Many things. I know my craft.
