FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I have just launched my business this year, I am offering discounted prices! I am working on broadening my portfolio and I want to collect more photos for my website and to share with future customers as examples of my work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I find out what kind of photos they need. Then together we figure out the best location to take the pictures. When we have our location, we schedule the date and time to shoot. On shooting day, we meet at the location, I will have my equipment and maybe some props if necessary. All you have to bring is your smile! After shooting, I will go home and look at the photos on my computer. I will take out any that are unflattering, out of focus or otherwise unusable. I will do light retouching to skin tone and texture and make some adjustments to exposure and color. Depending on what the customer wants, I can make the photos brighter with a more warm, happy tone or darker with a more moody tone. Finally, I upload all the photos and send a link for the customer to download! All photos are free of any watermarks or logos. The customer can share and print the photos however they want. When sharing on social media, photo credit is appreciated but not required. The copyright remains with the photographer, so this just means the customer cannot sell the photos.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the Boca Raton Museum Art School for several years. I am always continuing to research and learn to refine my craft. Currently I am taking the Master Class by Annie Leibowitz. I am also working as an assistant to a local photographer.
