FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
An incredible amount of time and effort go into each shoot long after our meeting is over. Sometimes days of editing. Photographers factor in time, distance traveled, the number of images, the number of people, the cost of equipment, lighting, and software used all factors in pricing. I try to ask a lot of questions about your unique shoot to best quote everyone. things I factor into price..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to go over all the details and location and prices prior to the shoot. I'm MORE than thrilled when someone wants to schedule a call or a meet in person because it's really nice to connect and understand each other.. I'm a huge fan of showing up early and being prepared. At this time we will paint the big picture, and find the best spots at the venue/location. For any shoot or event that is a few days out or more requires a 50% or less deposit to "save the date". Typically takes me a few days to a week to edit and send out the edits and less than 2 weeks for weddings depending on the number of shots taken/size of the wedding. Digital Download is always available and best method of delivery for convenience. I delivery an attractive easy to navigate gallery that you can easily download, share, and even purchase prints! *photobooks are a beautiful keepsake for any photoshoot and a family heirloom. I am offering them after every shoot with a quote. they are beautiful, hardcover books with the pages printed in high quality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught as well as one-on-one training with experienced photographers. I have a lot of experience behind the camera as a model. I continually learn new ways of using my equipment, upgrading when i can, and education myself on new skill sets that translate into better results from my business. As a Modeling myself, it gives me a lot of insight to know exactly what the customer will experience or feel like behind the lens. I'm happy to give smooth direction to bring out the best in every shot. Every day I learn something new with editing as I edit DAILY. I'm a strong believer in continued education to enrich my profession and spark new creative ideas for shoots.
