FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want to make sure you get a mural you absolutely love, so I price each project based on a few things: how big the mural is, how detailed or simple the design will be, and whether I’ll need to travel far. Murals are truly a labor of love—they take a lot of planning, prep work, and many hours of painting to get everything just right. Your quote will always include everything: all the design time, materials, set-up, painting, sealing, and even clean-up, so there are never any surprise fees. For bigger projects or if you have multiple walls, I can usually put together a package or bundle discount to help out. I do ask for a deposit to save your spot, with the rest due after your mural is complete and you’re happy with it. If you have a budget you’re trying to stay within, just let me know! I’m happy to brainstorm ideas or simplify things so you can still have something beautiful and unique for your space. Murals are usually based on square footage, but I really like to go over every clients budget because then we can go from there and work on what we can do :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is always to make the process easy, fun, and creative! Here’s how it usually goes: connection: you share your ideas, inspiration, or just the vibe you’re going for. If you’re not sure, I’m happy to help brainstorm! then site visit or photos: I’ll either come see the space in person (if local) or work from photos and measurements you send. design : I’ll put together a custom sketch or digital mock-up for your approval, and we can tweak the design until it feels just right. quote & schedule: Once you love the design, I’ll give you a clear, all-inclusive quote and set the dates for your project. prep: Before painting starts, I handle all the prep—like cleaning and priming the wall, taping off areas, and setting up. painting!: This is the fun part! I’ll keep you updated throughout, and you’re welcome to check in as the mural comes to life. final touches: I seal and finish everything, clean up the space, and do a walkthrough with you to make sure you’re thrilled with the final result. Communication is important to me, so I’ll keep you in the loop at every step. I want you to feel excited and confident from start to finish!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always loved art started really early as a kid. Around late high school, I started painting canvases and small pieces for friends and family! But the first time someone asked me to paint a mural, I fell in love with the whole process. There’s just something amazing about creating art that fills a whole wall and transforms a space! I realized how much I enjoyed collaborating with people and turning their ideas into something unique and personal for their space. Each project is a chance to bring a little more color and creativity into the world, and I haven’t looked back since!
