- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $10 per notarial signature, then $8 per notarial signature after, regardless of how many are needed, as allowed by Florida Law. Separately, I do charge travel fees for mileage over 10 miles from my zip of 34203 and based on the "Meet at" address. Many want a mobile notary and are several miles away so this is necessary given, time, traffic, gas and booked appointments in a day. If witness needed you will need to provide them on site day of.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depends on what is needed. In some instances, if the file is large, I will ask for docs to be emailed to me to look at in advance, to count how many signatures are needed and to make sure all is in order or if witnesses are needed. I will always ask in advance, for the "meet at" address to make sure we are on the same page in both timing of appointments and travel fees, if over the 10 mile "included" zone from my zip code.
