FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to introduce myself, help my clients get to know me a little bit, send references, demo reels of mine, find out as much details of their project and needs as possible so I can have an understanding on how to best serve them. I’ll usually setup a few phone calls, video chat, or in person meeting if possible before the day of the project. Then if all is good and goes accordingly, we’ll move forward with the production/video shoot, editing project etc. Depending on the type of project, I’ll be in contact with the client frequently to see if they’re satisfied with the look, or edit, or even timing of a schedule during the day. If I’m filming and producing the final edit, we’ll collaborate back and forth until we’ve reached the final video that best fits the clients vision, needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started by way of art class, learning about images, composition, value, contrast, detail, then by way of being a quad copter hobbiest with a 4K drone made it easy for me to capture beautiful images from above, then into the film/video/editing industry with help from self devotion, study, and many skilled mentors!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be able to explain your project/production needs in detail if possible, or be clear that you will need the help and direction from them. Do some research, get an idea what the local price ranges for this type of work are in your area, and check the reference material, demo reels, reviews, of your prospective provider.
