I am Rolando Lopez, the owner and founder of Southwest Florida Films, a wedding videography & photography company located in Cape Coral. I have been in the videography & photography business for almost a decade and the wedding industry for over five years filming love in Tropical Costa Rica and now in the Sunshine State.
I am an Engineer, but Photography has given me such beautiful experiences!

I can’t say enough good things about Rolando. He was such a joy to work with! He messaged me back immediately when I reached out to him, he was on time on the wedding day, he took such beautiful, creative photos, and he had such a kind, calming presence on such a hectic day.
Our wedding was very small, and required a lot of travel, and he was incredibly accommodating. We also got married in a Catholic church and he was very familiar with the etiquette and rules, which was amazing since sometimes churches can be a little picky about what is or isn’t allowed.
As a plus sized bride, I anticipated only finding one or two photos that I liked, and having to crop them or pay for further editing. With Rolando that was not the case at all! I love each photo I see more than the last one, and couldn’t pick a favorite because there are so many incredible ones.
Overall, our experience with him was delightful, and when we have our second, bigger wedding we hope he’ll be available for that as well.

I had so much fun with Rolando! He helped us model for all sorts of scenes and utilized pieces of nature. He was creative with his work and took special care of my valuable items to use for pictures as well. I definitely recommend him to anyone for weddings!

I just have awesome things to say about Rolando and his work! He arrives on time, and he is pretty nice and sweet about the pictures. I rarely write reviews but the pictures that Rolando took were amazing! So my wedding was on a yacht and when I saw the final pics I was delighted because the edition he uses for every pic is amazing! So if you want to hire him don’t doubt to do it!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will include the price of what I think will include EVERYTHING so that you don't get any surprises after our agreement. I price fairly, I don't believe in overcharging the customer. If you have any special request, 99% of the time I am very flexible. Also I don't rush or look at my watch, I am very flexible with time and capture any additional detail.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to go over all the details, location and prices prior to the shoot. I'm MORE than thrilled when someone wants to schedule a call or a meet in person because it's really nice to connect and understand each other. I usually show up early and be prepared.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught as well as one-on-one training with experienced photographers and videographers filming love in Tropical Costa Rica.
