Never dependable, dispatcher lied to me. Used them a few weeks ago, and they said they would be there in 30 minutes, but showed up 55 minutes later. Needed them recently, so I scheduled an appointment. After they were 25 minutes late, I cancelled. After 15 minutes passed my reservation time I called and the dispatcher sounded angry and irritated that I was calling about the cab being late. She said the driver was pulling up right now. So I waited another 10 minutes. Still no driver in sight, so I called and cancelled. She tried to lay a guilt trip on me saying the driver was arriving at my location. I still cancelled instead of risking her honesty over me getting a ride home. I made the right decision, because as i left in another ride and waited 5 minutes at the stop light the "Amber Taxi" that allegedly was arriving at my location was nowhere to be seen. I've read reviews of them being up to and hour and a half late (if at all) and lying by telling people "the driver is pulling up now" over and over again. I feel the dispatcher was hostile towards me and dishonest. Besides that their vehicles are dirty trash receptacles on wheels. It's vile and borderline criminal that this is one of the only cab companies serving cape coral. A smart investor would open a brand new cab company in competition with them, and I'd be happy to see Amber Taxi go outta business. Take another cab company if you can.Jul 11, 2014
Offensive drivers, like to hang out near the Cape bars. Vehicles are never clean. And forget about them being on time.Mar 29, 2013
