FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do Commercials, Promotion Videos, YouTube Videos, Training and How-to Videos and just about any video that requires Video Production Professionals. We do all of the video for the Orlando Science Center including Exhibit Videos, Promotion Videos and the Otronicon Commercials.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Video production is an art. How many people do you know who can take a plain sheet of paper and a pencil and create something that really moves you? Less than a handful is the typical answer. An artist takes inanimate objects and tools and creates emotion. Paper and pencil; canvas and paint; the metal strings and wood of a guitar or lighting and a video camera-- all of these in the hands of artists can create emotion. Why is this important? Because, once you've established your target audience and the message(s) you want to give that audience, you need to make that audience feel something about your message. This is critical-- if your audience doesn't feel something, they won't be motivated to act, and your money has been wasted. Most of my competitors are what I call "Craftsmen". They can create adequate images and audio, but their work falls short being "Art". And, their videos do not inspire or move the audience enough to get them to act. Monkey Fist Productions has a long list of satisfied clients, and we are the Producers of Record for the Orlando Science Center. Don't be fooled by other companies' "Reels" showing cherry-picked images from many different videos set to cool uptempo music. Ask to see a complete commercial, or fundraising video... and see if the video moves you. If not, then contact us.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Video production is a science and an art. An artist can create emotion from inanimate objects-- canvas and paint; charcoal and paper; camera and lights. You must hire a true artist to produce your video, because if your video doesn't create an emotion for the viewer to act on-- your investment is wasted.
