Introduction: First and foremost, I will not permit myself to do work I am not proud of. My performance is my daily reflection of my efforts and achievements and it's crucial to me that it is always constructive and positive. I am a corporate accountant (BS in Accounting) by trade. I started doing taxes in 2009 while working on my degree, first for Liberty Tax, then for Jackson Hewitt (references available). I continue to do taxes PT every season since. I like to believe I can make things better, in whatever small way, through my work each day. I get a lot of satisfaction out of managing and solving money issues. Beyond the number crunching, I enjoy most of all consulting with owners and managers about my findings and collaborating on improvements, adjustments and other possible solutions.

Said he could not do my taxes would not explain why, I called numerous times leaving messages for him to call me, he never returned my calls and the only way I was able to get him on the phone to get my taxes back was to call from a strange number.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with every customer at least twice - once initially to review their needs, previous year's return, changes, etc. - and once to review the taxes I've prepared. For more complex tax situations, I may need to meet with the client a third time, but often this can be handled via phone and email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's (B.S.) in accounting.
