FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our price of $997.00 is a flat fee that includes everything needed for your case including the attorneys fee, court filing fee, credit counseling course, debtor education course, and a complimentary credit report with entries from Experian, Transunion and Equifax.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The normal process for bankruptcy with my office is as follows: (1) initial telephone screening to confirm eligibility (2) client completes online credit counseling required for filing (we advance this cost by providing a link to the course and a unique office access code) (3) an extended telephone appointment is scheduled to obtain a full credit report* discuss the completion of an office questionnaire (from which we prepare the bankruptcy documents); establish which documents will be required from the client (including documentation of all income earned within the preceding six month and two years of tax data)*we advance the cost of obtaining the credit report as well. (4) After the above is provided to my office, a draft of the bankruptcy documents is submitted to the client for review and approval (5) After approval, the client is instructed to deposit the full fee (including advanced costs) and the case is immediately filed (which occurs electronically, the entire process is paperless) (6) Attorney representation provided at the Meeting Of Creditors (typically the only appearance in a Chapter 7 case)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I tend to focus the continuing legal education required by the Florida Bar in areas that involve bankruptcy specifically or, at least, generally relate to matters of debt relief.
