- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing music performances can be a bit confusing. There are obvious factors like hours and travel, set-up and prime time slots like Saturday night being more valuable. Giving the right quote can depend on good information from the client and I prefer to set a price after a personal consultation. Getting a deposit insures both parties of an important commitment to an important event/date.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk and email details, collaborate on playlists and set-up. I will link vidoes and songs lists to tailor the party to the unique needs of the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Music and Film/Communications from Stanford University. i have been a full-time musician and performer for over 40 years since graduating from stanford in 1979.
