Introduction: Originally from Memphis, Tennesse and now located in Tampa, Florida, RB and the Gang is a 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and Motown rock and roll band. They packed major clubs throughout the United States and performed in concert with artists such as The Drifters, The Platters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, Herman's Hermits, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam the Sham (Wooly Bully), Little Anthony and the Imperials, Chubby Checker and Tommy Boyce (composer of the Monkeys songs and of "I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight"). We had a surprise party for my wife Jan 10th, 2014 and Notist played for us. They were absolutely fantastic. Great group, fun, interactive with the audience, and played great dance music from the 70s and 80s. We had a wide age range of attendees and everyone enjoyed the music. I have had 10-12 people who attended the party comment how great the band was and several asked how I found them. Tony Dema, as well as all the members, were very professional, on time, and worked with the venue seamlessly. Thank you all so much for making this party so memorable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system depends on several factors. Most bands will perform for 3-4 hours. We are also available to provide entertainment for cocktail hour and during dinner. This requires a more subdued music that will enable guests to enjoy conversation and a pleasing atmosphere while they dine.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We provide entertainment for corporate events, fundraisers, private parties and various establishments.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be selective. The band should be wiling to audition for you. They should be versatile and able to provide a diverse selection of music to fit the tastes of your guests.
