As about the upcharge for this fantastic effect and memory! Quickdraw Records LLC provides live music, dance floors, and DJ services for any event. We have superb musical talent, great equipment, lots of experience, and will do a great job for your guests. Additionally, we can provide our own power system for remote areas and events. Our total price is usually $1100. The $1100 price includes live violin at a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour live music, and full DJ service for a reception. Most of our services, individually, cost well less than that, please inquire. Our prices include travel time, setup/takedown, sound, insurance, and we can provide ANY requests you may have. Try me. :) We also have upgradable experiences for your wedding or event, including: -- 16 uplights for the dance floor perimeter as well as dance floor lights -- "Dancing on the Cloud" for a special dance or first dance -- a monogrammed set of initials or names on the wall or dance floor of an event If you are looking for live musical talent, we have the following: Quickdraw Phillips -- solo violin/fiddle and can learn ANY song Mountain/Merry Mavericks -- trio that plays Sea World in Orlando during the holidays and is a regular at Blake Shelton's Ole' Red as well; they're known for their country, bluegrass, and Americana selections. MacSilver's Irish Pirates -- they're Irish! They're pirates! They where kilts! A great party band for any pub, event, or any audience, kiddos to rated-R. Rock, country, pirate, and Irish pub tunes, singalongs, jokes, and toasts. Bryan James Band -- traditional hard-driving country in a 5 or 6 piece band. Regulars on Friday and Saturday nights at Ole' Red and regionally.

First time with QuickDraw Records but certainly no disappointment. I appreciated how easy it was to access Neal, our DJ, how personable and prepared he was, how responsive he was and how willing he was to meet the need that we had. He provided great footage as well of past events that he served at which greatly influenced our decision to choose QuickDraw Records. Looking forward to future experiences!

Neal was AMAZING!!! He helped make our day even more special. In planning my wedding, helped me conceptualiza the musical structure of the ceremony and reception by providing a very simple yet detailed template that provided information about what information he needed at each stage of the event. He also videoconferences with me every time I had a question or needed assistance deciding the songs he was going to play on the violin during our ceremony. He also took same day requests and made the whole date feel smooth by connecting each transition with music and directions….. I could not have asked for a better DJ!!!

Neal was absolutely phenomenal as our DJ and live violinist at our wedding. He was the highlight of our entire event. As a DJ, he kept the energy perfect all night—smooth transitions, and an incredible ability to read the room. On top of that, his live violin performances were breathtaking and made special moments so much more emotional. 

Not only is he unbelievably talented, but he’s also one of the nicest, most professional and genuine people you’ll ever meet. He handled guest interactions with total grace and made sure every one of our requests was fulfilled exactly how we wanted them. We had a polish ceremony and even requested polish music at our reception, and he delivered every request without hesitation. We also appreciated his reasonable pricing and the amazing quality of service provided.

If you want a musician who is skilled, reliable, talented beyond measure, and just an amazing person to have at your event, look no further. Truly a 10/10 experience.

We hired Neal (Quickdraw) through Thumbtack for our wedding reception at the Thomas Center, and he absolutely exceeded every expectation. We initially chose him because of the incredible reviews, and we wholeheartedly agree with every single five star review. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly personable from start to finish. During our cocktail hour, he played violin and it was fantastic. So many of our guests commented on the Bridgerton vibes and how magical it all felt. He kept everything running smoothly and right on time. Neal clearly knew his role and ours — his quick but comprehensive planning sheet helped us feel totally prepared, and throughout the night he made sure everyone involved knew their cues. He transitioned seamlessly from our outdoor cocktail hour to the indoor reception, making sure energy stayed high without the music intruding on dinner conversation. The music all night was spot-on. Guests constantly told us how much they loved the song choices, and Neal was great at reading the room, checking in on the dance floor at just the right times to see if the vibe needed a switch. Not sure how many couples can say they moshed at their wedding, but Quickdraw was down, and let us have our fun not once, but twice! All in all, the music was perfectly curated to fit us as a couple and to keep our guests having an amazing time. We’re so glad we chose him. Truly the best DJ we could have asked for!

Not really a standard pricing system. It all depends on travel costs, duration of the event, and what y'all need from us. We are flexible. :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pretty simple. Customer contacts me and tells us what is needed as far as music or entertainment, and we accommodate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a doctorate in Educational Leadership, so that helps on the business end. I have 10 years experience playing in the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, and I've played on four continents and had numerous solo, duo, trio, and band gigs throughout the past 20 years.
