Introduction: Since 1982 Body Awake Jujitsu has been providing outstanding instruction in Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), meditation, Tai Chi, and life skills. We serve Central Florida, Polk, Oseeola, Kissimmee, Orange, Clermont, and Lakeland Counties. Our programs include after-school pick up, summer camp, seminars, and group and private classes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
DO NOT BE FOOLED: Do not join a school with only ground or only standing techniques. Police know that when fighting more than one attacker you must not go to the ground, rather, you must remain standing. If knocked down you must know how to defend yourself on the ground as well, however, to learn just ground fighting is also learning half of what you need to know. That is why all of our classes are balanced with half standing, and half ground grappling techniques. There is no better investment, than investing in your own physical, and mental well-being!
