FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each case is priced differently. A Simplified Dissolution of marriage with no children, no property, no assets is of course less expensive then a dissolution with children, support, property, debts. As well as a inter family adoption. Any one who quotes you over the phone absolute prior to your initial visit needs to draw your attention. There are changes, amendments, additions and other issues that must be addressed also. So please remember, sometimes cost varies... And again, you get what you pay for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Always as to the Supreme Court of the State of Florida is constantly changing it Pro Se, Self Help Documents annually for their use in the local courts. These are the approved forms, approved by the Supreme Court of Florida not the ones you get ones you download from a internet site.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After obtaining my Juris Doctorate I saw the need in my community that there was a lack of basic access to the courts by people like you and me unless we had the financial means to pay for legal help, thus denying many of our local citizens due process because of affordability. Please remember, not all issues can be handled through the document preparing process and licensed Attorneys are required for their legal opinions, knowledge and expertise. But if the parties are in agreement, and in some cases, if not, the Supreme Court of this State has made it available through these forms to get a favorable resolution to your issues. And this is where my line of work comes in, for it brings me great joy to see that people who in other words would not have been able to attain this resolution get finality at a reasonable, affordable cost. And that makes it worth it.
