- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for certified technicians. Virus removal, for example, is a tricky thing. Too many "mom and pop" computer services will only remove the obvious part of the infection. We've seen clients who use the cheap service only to find out several weeks later that they also had an underlying keylogger which has been sending their private information to some unknown hacker. Data Recovery is another delicate area. If your technician is not an expert, he might ruin your drive further, and make all data recovery impossible.
