FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend time up front listening to exactly what challenges my customers want to solve. Whether they need a book editor for a long manuscript or a simple press release, every client has expectations for their project. My job is to listen well enough to learn what those expectations are, and help clients find the right solution.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My work consists of both large and small projects. I typically have several large projects such books and research projects going on, but I love doing smaller projects for people: resumes, business plans, updating website text, blog entries, and promo materials like postcards, press releases, and brochures.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you're shopping for a writer, editor or marketing consultant, I strongly recommend having a conversation with each person who sends you a bid. Look for someone who is a good listener, who seems to understand your project goals, and who feels like a person you could work with for some time.
