- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price using 3 different models. The first is for a typical residential property. We ask about the age of the home, the total square footage, the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, if there is an attached garage, pool, any detached buildings, etc. All of these things go into our pricing. For commercial properties, we charge $75 per hour with a not to exceed cost, based on questions as noted above. New build construction inspections are based on the square footage of the building and the number of visits required. Some people want only one final inspection while others want several inspections during the process. It is our goal to provide the right price for the right inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely, all of our people are continually learning more and more. There is so much information in the world today that changes, that it takes continuous training to keep up.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I traveled throughout the US, South America and the Caribbean doing construction projects and decided it was time to stop and start my own company. I didn't want to continue doing construction so I realized that my background and experience could help people to make better informed property buying decisions.
