About
I do NOT work in any dependency (litigating against DCF on placement of children); or guardianship in any capacity. I work in divorce, paternity, child custody (not against DCF), child support issues, & temporary custody by extended family cases. I travel all over Florida and have appeared in many different counties. I am a true solo. That means I do NOT have a paralegal, receptionist or other support staff drafting and filing documents. All the work is personally done by me. That also means I do not have a brick and mortar “office” that I pay overhead for since I do not have staff to answer phones and take walk-ins. The office would end up being closed when I was traveling or in court. While I am readily accessible to clients, it is more so through email and text since I am in court a good bit and I do not have a secretary to take messages. I use an online client portal to send secure messages back and forth and upload documents back and forth from clients. If you are looking for an old school style attorney with a fancy office (and the extra overhead) and support staff, then I may not be a good fit for you. If you are the type of person who does not mind technology and does not want to pay for overhead for a fancy office then I would be happy to discuss your case with a free phone consultation.
I work on flat fees based on the ‘phase’ of the case which generally will be a discount for most clients rather than billing hourly as most attorneys do.
I like helping people through difficult situations and have many grateful clients.

I have just recently reached out to Ms. Morelly about helping myself and my daughter with my child custody case and after a year of being bullied by my ex’s attorneys who were paid for and by her parents, Ms. Morelly took my call right away and showed compassion immediately. My daughter was unjustly taken from me temporarily and I didn’t have the money initially for an attorney and have been out of work for nearly a year. I think Ms. Morelly’s price is fair and that she genuinely cares and is willing to work with you on making payments. I’m not from this State and it has taken a toll on me going through this whole process alone. I am in the medical field and I know it can be frustrating at times trying to explain to people certain things and I am no exception of being one of those people when it comes to the law. I have studied and watched other lawyers on Youtube to help get me through the process and it still wasn’t enough. I wasn’t looking to do be my own lawyer, but because of life circumstances, I had to. I can’t wait to work with you and I can tell you share the same type of passion for helping people in family law as I have for helping people in Critical Care Medicine. After speaking with you a few times, my gut says I am in good hands and I can get this weight off my shoulders that I have been carrying around for over a year. Thank you and again look forward to meeting with you have you lead this case to a fair and amicable result. God Bless You for all you do and keep up the good fight 👊🏼.

She is doing things I had never considered to get an outcome more equitable than me being my ex’s indentured servant until one of us dies.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Instead of hourly billing, I charge FLAT FEES for each phase of the case. Most family law cases end at mediation. I do offer payment plans tailored to each client’s financial situation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally talk to a potential client on the phone and listen to their concerns and the issues they have. I try to find out what results they are looking for and I tell them what I can and cannot do to help them get the results to the problem they have. I will offer suggestions as well and if they really don’t need my services I will tell them that as well. My approach is client-centered. I am accessible and I work with people to help them through whatever problem they are experiencing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in law school I never thought I’d want to do family law but my first job out of law school was working for a family lawyer and I liked the fact that the cases are never really the same because each client has specific problems they need help with and I liked the fact that most clients are extremely grateful for helping them through a very difficult time in their lives. At the end of the day this profession is foremost about helping people solve their problems.
