Donald was on his j-o-b today and provided exceptional service to our home!
Our Google Nest was giving us a power error; shutting off/on and so our air conditioner was not working properly. Donald called immediately and even offered to come out the night before. Upon arriving this morning, he noticed the common wire wasn’t connected as it should have been during initial installation. This connection will save us from having to take off the thermostat face and charge it separately. Next Donald found the main issue for our unit not cooling our home and that was the starter which needed replaced. He also performed much needed cleaning/maintenance on our HVAC unit by flushing the system from both ends, cleaning the drain, and ensuring our filter was installed properly. He did all this for a great price and had earned our repeat business for routine care. Thank you for your professionalism and resolving our issue the first time.

Donald is absolutely amazing. Without a doubt one of the best contractors we’ve ever worked with (and we’ve worked with many over the years). We had gotten a very expensive estimate from a big company for a repair job on our AC unit. We called Donald for a second opinion. Donald diagnosed the problem, which in reality was a very simple fix, at a very reasonable price. Turns out the job the big company was going to do didn’t even need to be done. Donald is the person to call if you’re having any issues with your AC. Period.

Last week I requested help with my a/c unit, I believe it was Thursday afternoon, asking if someone could come the following day. Not long after making the request I got a call from Donald with Entice Air Systems asking if he could come by on the very same evening. Of course, I was more than happy to have an even faster response than I requested.
Donald showed up that evening, spent some time making sure he understood exactly what the problem was, and said he would come back the following day to replace the compressor. He took my financial situation into account and worked with me to get a replacement I could afford (with a 3 year warranty). He was at my house again early the following morning to make sure he knew exactly what he needed when the supplier opened. He came back later in the day to replace the compressor. Cold air was blowing again!
Saturday evening I had to call Donald back and let him know my a/c had started blowing warm air again, letting him know it was fine to come by Monday. But he INSISTED on coming by Sunday instead so I would have to go longer without a/c. When he got here Sunday he showed me where a lizard had gotten in the unit shorting out one of the parts. Luckily, he was able to replace the part quickly so I had cold air blowing again that day.
I would absolutely recommend Donald and Entice Air Systems to anyone who needs a/c service! He is prompt, professional, friendly, thorough, and generally a very nice guy.
*Side note: A well intentioned friend (a property manager) had previously offered to “save me a lot of money” and make the repairs. Knowing very little about a/c myself and my friend seeming very confident, I was grateful for his offer. Unfortunately, he used the wrong Freon. His well-intended “help” ruined my compressor, turning what might have been a roughly $200 repair into a $1800 repair. My advice: DON’T LET YOUR FRIEND WORK ON YOUR A/C!!!

Gave me more honesty than others I’ve had come out. Thoroughly checked everything and actually showed me the gauge used to see my Freon was low. Also gave me tips and suggestions that I’ve never received before as far as maintenance and care for my unit. Will hire again!
