We had items that needed to be moved quickly. The owner responded quickly and communicated throughout the process. The movers were on time and ready to work. They were both professional and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use General Install again.

From the initial interaction to the last item being moved, these guys were fantastic to work with. I felt the quote not only was fair but wasn’t a cookie cutter, one size fits all type of thing and instead took everything into account. I was literally moving down the hall so I didn’t need a truck, or any of the usual things one may need for a cross-town move. Once they quoted me, that price never changed - With other companies in the past that price changed 2, maybe 3xs and all my belongings pretty much held hostage until they received that amount, but not with these guys; They were professional, efficient, super friendly, careful with belongings and just really nice people. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company that is honest, fair, accommodating, efficient, and professional. They are the real deal! Hopefully I don’t have to move again for quite some time but if I do, I will be using them.

I hired this team to help me uninstall and reinstall my mounted TV since I was switching apartment units, and move my bed — and they did a fantastic job. I was especially impressed with how smoothly they handled my platform bed. I assumed it would be complicated, but they made it look easy and efficient. What stood out most to me was their attention to cleanliness. My bed is a cream/beige cloth material, so I was concerned about marks or damage. But they wrapped it with care, and I really appreciated that extra effort to keep everything protected. The only request I had that couldn’t be fulfilled was my no-shoes rule inside the apartment. Due to company policy — which I understand may be for safety reasons — they weren’t able to accommodate that. Still, they were respectful and professional the entire time. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely use this team again if I need help in the future. Grateful for the care they took with my belongings.
