Janine Did my make-up and hair for a business event in October. I am very picky when it comes to my make-up and Janine listened carefully and was able to meet all my needs while still putting her own special touch on it. My Event was very formal . My skin looked flawless and my eye makeup was blended so perfectly. She did a classy elegant up do for my excessively curly hair. I received so many compliments that night and I walked Into the event not only looking but more importantly, FEELING like a million bucks. I would refer Janine to anyone not only because of her talent/expertise but also her can do attitude and friendly character. She was an absolute delight.

Janine did my hair & makeup for a fundraiser event. Professional, friendly, enthusiastic, she loves what she does and it shows in her work. I never had airbrush makeup done before this day, & it came out absolutely flawless. The smoky eyes were perfect too! My hair was blow dried straight and beautiful! The fundraiser was fitness themed & even after 3 hours of exercise, my makeup & hair still looked great! I got so many compliments throughout the day, I will always go to Janine for my beauty needs! She is the best there is!

Janine was friendly and knowledgeable about both the products she was using and how best to use them for my particular face/skin type. She did my makeup for a special event which turned out spectacular. I asked for something dramatic and playful, Janine definitely delivered! It lasted all night and still looked fabulous.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always attend different makeup trade shows such as IMATS and The Makeup Show. I do some refresher courses about 2x a year and am constantly trying new products! You can never stop learning I think.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding hair and makeup. Special events. Prom. Quince. Bat Mitzvah. Photo shoots. Head shots. Fashion shows. Family portraits. Theatrical makeup. Etc.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just got done with a national broadway tour with a show called "Looped". I toured for most of 2013 as the lead makeup artist, wig stylist and wardrobe supervisor. It was a dream come true! I loved my cast and crew. I was so fortunate to tour the US doing what I love!!
