FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat fees, agreed upfront — no surprises. Pricing depends on the type and complexity of the grant: a single foundation or corporate proposal is straightforward, while federal, state, and SBIR/STTR applications require far more research, compliance work, and documentation. Ongoing monthly support is available for organizations with a steady grant calendar. Add-ons like prospect research, budget development, letters of intent, and proposal review are quoted separately. We never charge a percentage of your award — that practice is considered unethical in the grant profession, and every dollar you win should go to your mission. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Four steps. First, a free discovery call to learn your mission, goals, deadline, and budget. Second, funder research — we shortlist and vet grants you're genuinely eligible for. Third, drafting: your dedicated writer builds the narrative, budget, and supporting materials in your voice. Fourth, review and submit — we refine with your feedback, then handle the forms, portals, and attachments so it's filed well before the deadline. Most foundation proposals take 3–7 business days; federal applications take 10–14.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is professionally trained in grant writing and proposal development, with combined experience across 50+ funding sectors including education, public health, arts, community development, and SBIR/STTR. We stay current with federal compliance requirements and funder guidelines, and each proposal is matched to a writer with background in that sector.
