FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices for pet sitting, dog walking, and overnights are per visit, and there are no additional fees added on. I can potentially offer discounts to people going away on longer trips or who will need me for multiple walks a day every week. Please feel free to contact me to discuss!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a potential customer messages me, I will respond as soon as I see the message and will ask you for some information. I will need the dates you will need services, how many times a day and the times you will need, your animals' names, ages, breeds, medication schedules, special diets, or any other information I may need in order to provide the best care possible. I will then schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet where I will come to your home to meet your pets and go over any details that may be necessary for me to complete the job. I do expect half payment up front and the other half within 48 hours of your return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with animals professionally for almost ten years. I have experience in animal rescue, as a veterinary technician, and I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. Although I mainly work with cats and dogs, I have worked with rabbits, guinea pigs and birds in the past. I am always willing to have new experiences and work with almost animal. The only animals I wont work with are those that require me to do live feedings (i.e. a snake that is fed live mice). I understand that those animals need to eat too, but it's not something I feel comfortable doing or watching.
