- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is easy, transparent, and ultimately lower than much of our competition. For on-site services we charge $85 for next day service or $125 for immediate service to roll the van, plus $1 per mile from our shop (or where the van is currently located, if we happen to be closer to you at that time) if you're outside Fort Walton Beach city limits. Some common services while we're there include vehicle unlock $40, vehicle cut and program for an all keys lost situation $120, unlock a house or apartment $40, full residential rekey with up to six locks and four new keys provided $100. If you bring the job to us there's no service call or travel charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first and most important step is figuring out what the customer ultimately wants out of the transaction. Is it a feeling of better security? More convenience? Better aesthetics? All of the above? Once I've got a handle on what's actually needed I'll determine how I'm best able to help achieve that goal. Maybe it's just a new battery for a key fob, maybe the lock just needs a little lubricant, maybe it's a whole big project. I tackle every job carefully and systematically, involving the customer as much as possible to ensure it's done right and delivers the result they expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No formal training, just an apprenticeship and a whole lot of hands-on experience.
