Piano Lessons

I first approached Mark to give my son insight on how to pursue his piano learning and also give him technicality. In only 2 lessons we saw a difference in his piano repertoire! We are delightfully surprised and seriously looking into hiring him and we are Canadians with a vacation home in Fort Lauderdale ! My son has been playing piano for 7 years and told us that Mark has a way of breaking down the problematic but especially a way to really make you understand so you can move on positively with your learning . Two thumbs up !

Thumbtack Customer

Mark has taught my daughter to play piano for almost 3 years. He is very attentive and patient, listens to his students and goes through the pieces selection with them. He also has a way to insert bits and pieces of music theory and history into each lesson. My daughter was always looking forward to Mark's lessons. He coached my daughter to participate in several solo competitions and she was able to perform at Merkin Hall in New York a couple of times. You or your child will definitely enjoy having piano lessons with Mark.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our lessons are offered in month-long installments with weekly lesson packages ranging from $155 to $310 per month. New students are offered one trial lesson at a reduced rate as an introductory course on their chosen instrument. Pricing details can be found on our website!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The conservatory's approach to music education is focused on the individual, in that every student's lessons are tailored to their current skill level and goals. Each week our teachers assign new pieces and exercises to their students to work on between their weekly lessons.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our teachers are actively performing artists in the community who regularly are asked to judge competitions and run festivals both in the US and internationally. Each staff member holds at least 2 degrees in music performance, several of whom are Ph.D. recipients. We hand select our faculty from educational institutions and performance halls alike.
