Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The experience is what sets me apart. Professional photography is not just about taking a photo. Anyone with a camera can do that. It's about lighting, posing, and connection. It's about how you feel and making sure you feel confident about how you look. You will notice that I crack jokes to break the ice so you are more relaxed and having fun during your time with me. That is so important because it will show in your portraits. I really enjoy meeting and talking to new people. But what I REALLY love the most is when I speak with someone and they say "I'm not very photogenic". My eyes light up and I get all giddy because ITS NOT YOUR JOB to be photogenic! It's MY JOB to make you look amazing in your photographs! So, what I love about them saying that is when they see their photo and they say "WOW!" I just smile because I know I've done my job! Let me prove it to you!

Michael was wonderful to work with! He was timely and able to jump right in without many questions. Great interaction with our guests, and produced beautiful photos. He even had them ready to go online by the very next morning. I highly recommend Michael and I will certainly book him again!

Headshot Photography

So first let me point out that nothing in this review will come close to the words I need to describe Michael. Michael was incredible. We had him come out to do corporate headshots and after we got what we needed we had a fun shoot as well. It was such a good time. Michael had such good energy and brought everything we could possible need. The pictures came out great and I can't wait to use him again for the next time I need a photographer!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Professional photography is more expensive than someone with a camera taking photos. It is a learned skill that takes practice and time. With that being said, my quote may be higher than others, but I guarantee you will love your portraits. I have invested the time in my craft to understand lighting, composition, and connection to create images you will love, not just like!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first and foremost thing is for my clients to understand it is not their job to be "photogenic" so to speak. It is my job to create amazing photos. That takes a tremendous amount of stress off of my clients. Secondly, I want you to feel comfortable so usually the first 30 minutes of a session are just to get you relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. That's when I can really work my magic!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been mentored by Sue Bryce in Los Angeles, California. I spent an amazing week with her learning her techniques and refining my skill! She is truly one of the worlds greatest portrait photographers. Her accolades speak for themselves. I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and our local Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild (JPPG). These two organizations also provide training and feedback from master photographers that challenge me to constantly grow! I am also currently working on obtaining my CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) certification through PPA.
