I hired Whitney Lonker for a family law matter. Family law matters are never easy and Whitney took the time, patience and care to make me feel empowered in the process while making me feel confident that I was being taken care of. She was more than reachable...she even allowed text messages so I could reach her anytime. She treated me like a sister, and I truly felt safe in her representation. I recommend her to everyone who needs a lawyer. She's unconventional, has a great personality and will make you laugh during difficult times. More importantly, she's a bull in court. Don't let her kindness fool you. I was pleasantly surprised by the way she handled the other side and took control of the courtroom. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, we are required to do 30 hours every 3 years, but I do more than that so I am always up on the current changes & trends in the law.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
That is an answer best left for the face to face! It's a true testimony for which I am extremely grateful.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Anything in family law and criminal law. My cases range from divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support (alimony) & modifications to DUI, domestic battery, aggravated assault, attempted murder, murder, theft, etc. etc. If it's a crime, we defend it. If it's family related, we try to fix it.
