FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Models that we serve are often seeking to be signed with agencies and to land paying: promotional photography, voice acting, and commercial gigs. We help them get started by providing professional images and designs- this increases their presented reputation to the decision-makers and provides them materials that they can leave behind for hopefully a callback. We design personalized: Websites, business cards, promotional images, and Comp Cards. These items are not put out in a cookie-cutter format, we personalize each item for each client. TDA World Studios professional photography takes place both in our fully-equipped studio, or at stunning locations around the city. We are very flexible about traveling and searching for unique spots for our client's needs.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Models are often taken advantage of in this industry. We suggest that before a model hires a photographer, he or she research the work of the photographer. It is professional to request model references from a photographer- a photographer that is offended by this may not be a true professional. Be Weary of G U Y S W I T H C A M E R A S !! Guys with Cameras (GWCs) are exactly what they sound like. They are individuals who have purchased or have a camera and look to photograph models, but normally have very limited skills and rarely plan on moving into professional photography. Often GWCs are considered the "underbelly" of photographers and can damage model's aspirations by initially offering a great shoot, yet providing a poor experience or even a bad experience. Most often you can weed out the GWCs by assessing them as you would a photographer: looking at their portfolio, reviewing their website, checking professional associations, reading their contracts, and asking for references. However, there are some GWCs out there who are just new to photography and are building their portfolios and plan on becoming professional photographers.
