- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Like most other property management and real estate companies, there isn't a set dollar amount for selling or renting your home. Instead, the fees are based on a percentage of the closing price (in the event of a sale) or monthly lease amount (in the event of a rental.) To provide you with an accurate proposal on the cost of managing your rental or sale property, we need you to provide us with the address of the property in question. Then, one of our agents will do some comps on local properties and compile a Virtual Market Analysis. This information will provide the starting point for your proposal. However, we are a full-service agency, so if you are looking for a custom management or sales arrangement, that can be done as well. The point is that the first step is providing us with the property address so that we can help you decide what options are available to you and which will have the greatest impact on your bottom line.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Here at Signature Realty & Management, we have four offices and over 50 staff members. Our major divisions include real estate sales, residential property management, community association management, vacation rentals and our accounting staff. Each division has agents who are dedicated to continuing their education and expand their territories with effective networking. All of our agents are REALTORS(TM) and a number of our property managers are members of NARPM, the National Association of Property Managers. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When someone is looking for a real estate agent or property manager, one of the most helpful things you can do is have a clear idea of what it is you're looking for. What are your expectations? The more concrete your game plan is, the easier it is for us to help you find exactly what you're looking for. We don't mind it when people are picky! It helps make our jobs and lives a lot easier when we know what you do and don't like, what you can and can't afford to add on. Don't be afraid to make suggestions. We might be the "experts" but you're the one who will live with your suggestion for the rest of your life. We want to help you find the perfect home or property, not just one you're willing to settle for.
