Steven Pete Foster (Patriot Notary Services) officiated our wedding on April 2, 2022 and made it a truly joyful, stress-free day focused on LOVE. Steve took the time to get to know us, establish a relationship, and learn our story so he could genuinely speak of us, our love and our union. He personalized our ceremony to fit our style and comfort level and had a very calming presence that really helped us since we were both a little nervous From the beginning, we were impressed with the time and effort Steve put into the preparation. He made sure that we knew all of the legal requirements, obligations and timeline for getting married in Florida. He sent us links to the Florida Family Law Handbook, the County Clerk, the online license application and appointment scheduling and pricing. Beyond notifying us of the legal nuts and bolts and completing and notarizing the paperwork, Steve also worked to build a relationship with us, which I think Steve finds a most important part of officiating. Throughout February and March, Steve kept in touch as we got to know each other. Every text or email that started, “You have been on my mind” or “I am excited about this ceremony”, brought a smile to my face. As the date got closer, he kept us updated with texts starting,” I’ve been writing and writing and writing” or “This is going to be very special.” On the day of the wedding, the way in which Steve engaged with us and shared our story was so beautiful. We both shed tears of love and joy, as did our guests. Steve threw in some humor in just the right places to make the ceremony lighthearted, funny and sweet! Steve was outstanding, professional and such a good communicator. Everyone asked how long we had known him because he appeared to know us so well. Steve is truly one of a kind--extremely passionate about what he does-- and he delivered beyond our greatest expectations. Our family couldn’t quit talking about "that ceremony” and how fun, different, and personal it was, in very large part, thanks to Steve. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
State of Florida regulates signal notorial act at $10.00. Service, processing and travel fees are added. Each signature and oath is a notorial act. It is very simple, and I provide discounts for being nice.....since I control the accounting!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we will discuss requirements and pricing estimates on the phone before agreeing to work together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. I completed my Graduate degree work at the University of Pennsylvania. I have lead teams nation-wide as Director of Operations for Pepsico Foods, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Bacardi Bottling Corporation. I have also held Senior Operations Manager and General Manager roles at Walt Disney World Resort for over 13 years.
