“Mike was kind, thoughtful with his responses, fair, and an overall calming presence during our mediation. It was important for both of us to feel like we had someone who was sensitive to our individual needs and was going to keep things fair - Mike was fantastic. Professional yet personable. I would highly recommend him.”

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer the most affordable mediation prices there are (outside of low-income or pro-bono court mediation services). We have also contracted interpreters who charge the lowest rates there is, exclusively for AEP mediation clients! Remote mediation costs $150 per party. The booking party pays their portion to book the mediation, and the second party is invoiced within 24 hours. Once both parties have paid, the booked mediator will reach out with mediation preparation information and Zoom link for session.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In order to book a mediation, a new customer must have all of the contact information for the second party. If the other party has not been contacted about the date chosen by booking party, the booking party must relay that information in the comments section of the booking.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of AEP Mediation & Notary Services mediators have at minimum a Bachelor's level Degree; and, at least 40 hours of formal mediation training in each specific area of specialty they are covering. A good number of our mediators are practicing attorneys and/or have obtained a Juris Doctorate. The majority of our mediators are Certified by the state they reside in (with the only exceptions being those who live in states that do not provide certifications in mediation). Our team have over 200 years of experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) combined.
