Duane is a very pleasant and professional salesman. That being said I was expecting a thorough review of my proposed 10 KW system due to our previous conversatios, but to my surprise and disappointment I was informed that the system is something that the engineers will create after I sign up...and I would get a 10% discount if I signed up tonight! I do not respond well to pressure tactics and I was not happy with the way things were going already.... The proposed price was about $3.40/ Watt, and I have already had a number of estimates in the very low $2 range. Combine that with the fact that he couldn't really tell me about what type if system I was getting (single inverter vs micro inverters...type of solar panels etc) or even if my roof was in good enough shape to go through the process (something I had discussed as a concern before our meeting) was a real turn off...how can I be asked to sign a $35000 contract on our first meeting without a peak at the roof or a design plan?! I did request from him to tell me what kind of $ per Watt he was proposing before we met so that we could save some time if his price was out of range(which it was) but the request was ignored. If you are someone who is educated on the process and is looking for a company that can answer your concerns and questions to plan the best system or further educate you this company isn't the one per my experience. I had a list of questions I wanted to ask which I didn't even get to since I was already informed the engineers do the design and he didn't know much about the design process. He did offer to see if he could match my $2.19/watt offer if he called the head office (and I would have to sign tonight)....again more pressure tactics and honestly I would rather take my business to the person who gave me the fair price originally rather than the person trying to match it.

Thank you for your kind words- I am sorry your expectations weren’t met- when you receive a quote from multiple companies there are going to be some differences in how things are done. As far as not having the answers to your questions- that is just untrue - I verbally told you all of the materials the engineer would be choosing from- I’m sorry that wasn’t what you wanted to hear- maybe I was more honest then any other company has been about the process- and other companies just gave you a low number knowing you weren’t signing that day- (most likely after tax rebate) or possibly a lease- you won’t know until seeing the contracts- being a product distributor as well as repairs and sales - I have dealt with all types of customers - but never someone that leaves a negative review on a sales appointment just because they didn’t have there expectations met or there price- that being said- I wish you the best in your solar experience - we will not be able to help you- you should definitely use the cheaper company- and rennet you always get what you pay for- cheers
