Hired AJ to install an outdoor outlet for a tv in my patio. He ended up coming an hour and half after initially planned, but he did communicate the delays. The scope of the job changed a bit from what we initially discussed, and AJ was able to adapt and get the job done (albeit for $150 more than the initial price). The change in scope was partially my fault for not providing full context of where the outlet would be installed and the location of the interior outlet that was being tapped off of. AJ offered a few different solutions, and was still able to get the job done in a timely manner. Unfortunately when he was finished, I found two spots in our brand new outdoor rug that had been burned/melted from the tools he was using. I also found the handle of the door to our lanai broken and no longer operable, needing to be fully replaced. AJ didn’t mention either of these issues before quickly cleaning up and heading to his next job. Overall, the job got finished and the outlet is working as expected. I do feel like he was in a bit of a rush to get to the next job, and I would’ve appreciated at least a heads up about the burns in my rug and the broken door handle.
