FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With this type of work it’s difficult to price things over the phone. Especially if you have major cracking, delamination or uneven surfaces. I will say that my prices include all material and labor. I do require 50% up front for materials and 50% upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st and foremost! I make sure that they feel they can be themselves. I’m not a salesman, I’m not gimmicky. I feel like it puts too much pressure on people and suck at it anyways. You need a service and all I do is provide you with my recommendation. No more no less. I let my products sell themselves. One thing I’ve always said. “ you can’t sell someone something they don’t want “. So Why be pushy?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a basic high school education. There is no amount of training that will make you good at what I do. This really is an art. You either have it or you don’t. It’s not for everyone. But the sense of accomplishment is what keeps me interested.
