FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is generally determined by how much detail and effort goes into the design, how much skin is covered, how much henna we use. Asking me how much henna costs before I know what you are hoping to get will yield a very general answer...which is usually that it can cost anywhere from $10 ( a design on the finger) to $500 for bridal. After a few appointments you will be able to determine within reason what your ideas will cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I travel and take classes from artists who specialize in specific styles or have lots of experience in events that I wish to know more about, usually once or twice a year.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Whomever you go to get henna, please ask what is in the paste. If they do not know (it is an imported henna) or they cannot be sure, you are potentially asking for a harsh experience. Too many people are willing to use cheap "henna" to make a buck. My henna was more expensive to make, but I can tell you everything in it and where it came from. Do not accept less from your artist. Henna is never black, it never comes in colors, and it is never instant (takes 2-3 days to get dark!).
