Let me bring the gym to you . I travel with everything that is needed for a complete body workout . I also have extra equipment available which for some clients works out better that I actually loan out equipment that we will use during the workouts free of charge . I've been a certified trainer since 1987. I have a B.S. in Dietetics from The University of Akron. I started my own business from scratch here in Tampa Bay in 1997. I'm committed to doing my very best for my clients, each and every day. So experience and higher education is what makes me stand out from other trainers. I am impresses with jeff. He first filled out a health questinaire,surgeries,medicatons,etc then where I was at and what I wanted to accomplish .That took up most of 1hr,then he offered to do 1 session and to my surprise my low back wasn't hurting.the first time in 11 years.since I hired him,I had 2 sessions where I hurt late at night and 1 where I felt good.i always let him know and he adjusts the workout.each session is a little different.

Jeff has worked with me and my husband for approximately 1 month. He is always prompt and makes the hour go quickly. He spends a lot of time making sure we are doing our exercises and weights safely and correctly. For me it helps me to have someone to be accountable to and also helps me to devote this time to myself. I feel it is so important at our stage of our lives. Jeff makes it fun and changes up our workouts. Would recommend him to future clients that are looking for a personal trainer.

Jeff spent a lot of time with my husband during their first meeting and gathered a lot of specific health information so he could serve him well. He also gave us a lot of information, clued us in to some great resources, and led my husband through a great workout. He has been punctual and positive and is really tailoring the workout to the specific needs of my husband. I like the fact that Jeff is in our age bracket and understands the challenges of having an older body. He is very dedicated and professional and I am really excited that, with Jeff's help, my husband is going to achieve a level of better health!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Bachelors of science and dietetics multiple personal training certifications and continuing education credits

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I went to college in 1982, not really knowing what I wanted to study. I played many sports in high school and was very interested in nutrition and it's relation to athletic performance. My freshman year of college I took a course called Introduction to Nutrition. From there I took every course I could relating to the science of nutritional biochemistry. My third year I was accepted into the Dietetics department. I took a full year of Anatomy and Physiology.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    My clients all have different needs. I tailor each workout to the individual. Some like to workout at home, some like outdoors, some like to mix it up. Most want to lose weight, some want to gain. I keep my workouts varied so as to not have clients bored do the same exercises over and over. I incorporate many disciplines into my workouts, such as Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Tabata and swimming.
