This owner of the company never came and looked at the job nor did they give me an estimate. I was asked to send photos, which I did, but he claimed he did not get them. I asked for an estimate and he said “I will take care of you”. His worker showed up on Saturday, but had to reschedule for Sunday because he didn’t have what he needed for the job. But on Sunday he had to leave to go to Home Depot. He sent a very lovely man to hang these light fixtures, but apparently this project was above his expertise. The fellow tried diligently to get this assignment done, but after 8 hours I was left with lights that will need to be rehung at the right height and in the proper place in the ceiling. My ceiling has two holes that will also take a drywaller to correct and those holes that will have to be patched when the job is done correctly. I felt so badly for the workman who tried so hard to do his best, but his employer put him in a terrible position by not coming and looking at the project and not giving me an estimate. He sent me a bill for $950 and I will probably have that much left to pay to get this project repaired and completed.
