I trained with Kate for a number of years with a very difficult horse. She was extremely patient with both of us. Her approach to coaching is holistic in that she works with both the rider and horse as a team. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to further their riding skills and connection with their horse.

I took dressage lessons with Kate for about 5 years until she moved out of the area. Two things strike me most about Kate's instruction. First and foremost is her technical understanding of the skill of dressage. She is impeccable in her delivery of every communication to the rider without being harsh with corrections. Secondly, I truly appreciated Kate's understanding of the emotional connection of horse and rider. My horse and my ride is usually the very best part of my day, and Kate helped to make those hours even better. In the time I worked with her, I grew in confidence and skill during the ride, but overall I became a much stronger leader for my horse.
