Wish Ray had tested motherboard first since it would have saved him time but I told him I thought it was the power port and it was not. I was wrong. He could not fix my computer and suggested replacing it. I tried to swap out the hard drive to transfer my data into new laptop per his advice but the new computer could not recognize the old drive without an operating system on it. Wish I had a fix for this problem. I really need my old data for the new laptop. Ray was very nice, reasonable and patient.
