FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's $10 for the first three notarizations; $8 for each notarization thereafter. I charge a business fee of $25 as the cost to do business and my travel fee is based on mileage, roundtrip ($1/mile). For remote online notarizations, the price starts at $25 for the first signature, a platform fee of $20, and a small transaction fee for electronic payments such as Venmo, Paypal, Square, etc. Please know that I try to keep my prices reasonable. How far away you are and the number of notarizations you need will factor into my pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will connect to discuss the type and number of notarizations you need. We'll discuss location to meet and then an estimate. We will set the appointment on the call. I will send a reminder and tickler for the appointment the day before and day of. Please make sure documents are prepared with no missing information to ensure a smooth process. Nothing should be signed until we meet. Please have a valid form of identification ready for each signer. We will meet, sign, pay for services and go over any other questions before ending the meeting.
