FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates reflect my professional training and experience in education and ESL instruction. I offer both 1-on-1 and small group lessons, with flexible scheduling options. Package rates are available for students who commit to multiple sessions. For in-person sessions outside my standard service area, a travel fee may apply. I’m always happy to discuss options to find the best fit for your goals and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a brief consultation to understand your goals, current level, and specific needs (conversation, grammar, work-related English, academic support, etc.). From there, I design personalized lessons tailored to you. Sessions focus on building confidence through meaningful conversation, with structured support to strengthen grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I regularly adjust lessons based on your progress to ensure steady improvement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and have worked as a classroom teacher and Reading & Writing Specialist. I have taught Adult ESL at Colorado Community College and am Level 5 certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I also volunteer as an ESL instructor with the Red Cross. I am also a certified Life & Success Coach, and I incorporate mindset and confidence-building techniques into my lessons to help students overcome fear and speak with greater clarity and ease. My background allows me to blend structured teaching methods with natural conversation practice.
