FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quote is a starting point. I come up with my pricing based on condition of coat and skin, your dog's temperament, and how frequently you plan to get your dog groomed. I do charge a $25 cancellation fee if you do not give 12 hours notice. I accept most all forms of payment, however credit cards do have a $5 processing fee. If I discover fleas or ticks on your pet, there is an additional $50 cleaning fee as I will need to administer a proper flea bath as well as take precautions to sanitize and potentially discard of some of my equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I request that the client be present for at least the first 15 minutes of the first appointment. This makes sure that we both have the proper exceptions of the appointment. It also ensures that I can best meet your pets needs during the visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the elite Merryfield School of Pet Grooming where I was trained under Master Groomers. I myself am a Nationally Certified Groomer in the Non-Sporting Group with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA). I am a registered member of the NDGAA and am constantly continuing my education by attending workshops, seminars, trade shows and visiting my alma mater for private lessons.
